Every Thursday in October and November 2010 O'Shea's Irish Pub Vlaardingen will be the home of the Battle of the Coverbands. Each week bands will compete for the title of best Coverband.
We will have 6 weeks of regular rounds, followed by the finals.

There will be a proffesional jury of 3 people, but also the public vote counts.

"What can we win?" I hear you ask.
First prize will be anounced later, but it will assure you and a contract to play at different Irish pubs.


Interested?? Here is what you have to do to sign up:
Write us or email us with your band information.

• Band name
• Band members (how many, plus names)
• Type of music (let us know if you're a tribute band)
• Contact information
• website, hyve, youtube, etc.

Ofcourse we want to hear some of your music so you can send us a cd or mail us a link to something you have online. We would like to hear more than one song.
A list of songs you play never hurts either.


First round you are required to play a 30 to 40 minute set. If you make it to the finals you are also required to play a 30 to 40 minute set, but with different songs than in the first round. You are only allowed to repeat two songs at the most.
So, that being said, if your band only plays 12 songs, you will probably not be able to play 3 different sets of 30 to 40 minutes, so you need to start practicing more to enter the battle.
Also, if you do not play cover songs, but only your own songs, this is not the battle for you.
